- Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning (In progress)

Experience
​
- 11 years as a fitness/exercise professional
- 6 years powerlifting coach
- 6 years as a competitive powerlifting athlete
- 2 years coaching as a high school strength and conditioning coach
-4 years working at a non-profit centered around helping kids from underprivileged communities get to college on athletic scholarships
- Coached multiple D1 athletes. Helped prep multiple athletes for D1 colleges such as CAL Berkley for sports such as football, soccer, water polo, baseball, basketball, and more.

HOW TO WORK WITH JOSH:
Personal & Semi Private Training
1 on 1 Personal training VS Semi Private (2-4 people)

1 on 1 training is completely customized to the needs of the individual. Training times are completely flexible according to the schedule of the athlete and the coach

For Semi-Private training, sessions are scheduled at a specified meeting time each week similar to a class, but only 2-4 people.

Coaching is included for free, which involves:
Weekly review video message monitoring the 5 factors of fitness:
- Training Program (weekly progressions, form critiques, modifications, etc)
- Steps (Monitoring highs and lows, trends, and averages and coaching toward goals)
- Nutrition (Food selection, Macros, Meal timing)
- Sleep (Monitoring sleep regularity, depth, and quality)
- Biometrics (Daily body weight and body fat, weekly measurements, monthly before and after photos; these measure outputs all to monitor trends and give feedback for modifications to the overall plan of the previous 4 inputs)​

Semi-Private Training:

- Video call meeting to review data and create a strategy on how to improve our inputs realistically and sustainably to achieve our goals.

24/7 Contact
- Form Reviews: Send in training footage so that we can review the technique and make corrections moving forward.
- Training, nutrition, steps, sleep, motivation, accountability, and other discussions as they pertain to your fitness journey.

Competition Prep
- Can coach athletes of any kind in the realm of strength and conditioning training, along with sports nutrition, to prepare for an athletic season or competitive event. Can coach at events and provide proper warmup, and nutritional strategies (such as water cutting or sports performance nutrition) at a discounted rate.

Virtual Perssonal Training Session
- Training session ussing FaceTime or Zoom to monitor form and technique, provide encouragement, and gain accountability for your workouts. Scheduled similar to personal training sessions, but can be serviced wherever.
